My M$/Word 2001 documents have suddenly lost the ability to wake up the parent application by doubled clicking the document. I get the following dialog box.
============================================ The document "xxxx" could not be opened, because the application "Microsoft Word" could not be found. Could not find a translation extension with appropriate translators. ============================================ This document was indeed created with Word and used to open by double clicking. If I force "Word" the application to open first, then the application has no trouble recognizing that the document is its own and will open it up just fine. What is "broken" and more importantly how do I regain the double click activation technique's association with the parent application? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
