I know this is possibly OT but am a bit hard pressed for an answer and well, you folk often know a trick:
On my 7600... (pathetic attempt to be les than OT) I have made many macros to make a word or phrase appear in my BBEdit Lite using Kequencer Lite, but I can never include quoted text? How do I do this? I make my macros via the simplest method, namely I assign a name, a key command like contol+option+t and then type in the box where you code an instuction, ie. tell the program what to do when my key combo is pressed. One way to do this is simply to put the word type followed by what is to be typed in quotes. Works fine generally. For example: type "<table align=center>" produces <table align=center> when I press my assigned keys But what I really want is <table align="center"> (type "<table align="center">" does not work) The editor does not like the quotes within the main quotes ... (I know I can move out to applescript but I prefer to stay in KeyQuencer along with the other html tag macros I have) Anyone know how to get over the prob? Unicode? Escape sequence of some kind. Stuck on this for now. I can offer a clean pirate and/or a clean parrot joke in return. david_elmo -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
