What is the rule w/ L2s and G3s? Does using the L2 result in unstableness? Slow performance??
There are no rules to using an L2 cache with a G3 upgrade that has an L2 on it. It totally depends on the upgrade. They basically have three possibilities.
Some with just ignore the external L2's existence. Very few will accept the external L2 as L3. The other ones get miffed because you forgot to take it out and will cause all kinds of discord.
