OK! Flashing is imaging. So what is imaging? What do you do, briefly? Do you
hold the card up and wait for a lighting strike and say magic Mac words at
the right time?

Well, you have to research on the web. Try www.google.com for starters. Then after you figure out if your card can be made Mac compatible you find the necessary knowledge and files to do it. here it is simple:
1. Find out on web if card is flash-able
2. Read every forum anywhere that has to do with flashing your card (you might have to learn German)
3. Get the software and files needed. You might even need a windows PC capable of booting into DOS.
4. Flash it.

Everything said it isn't just download a program and double click. There is a lot more and it matter a lot what card you attempting this on.

I haven't tried the lightening strike yet. Maybe if you make the dong sound that a Mac makes on boot you'll do it. Hold it outside the window, wait for lightening, when lightening hits make the dong.
