do you know how i could download that on a pc? Thanx. ~ Ben ~
All downloads from Apple's site should be saved perfectly fine on a PC, just don't ever expand them.
Make sure, if offered a choice, you get the Binhexed (.hqx) version. That pretty much the universal transport.
The key is a big enough sneakernet: CD, Zip drives and USB memory sticks all work fine. I am positively enthralled with my SanDisk Cruzer 256mb memory stick...it's big enough to transport anything reasonable, and works without a hitch on both PC and Mac. The catch is, you'll need a USB card on your Mac (not hard any OHCI-compliant USB 1.1 card should work) and USB support (which, alas, requires 8.6 or greater...)
But if you have USB ports already in both places, it's about $50-$70 for a sneakernet bigger than my first five hard drives put together...

Big chicken/egg problem there.
Zip or CDR/s don't have these problems, but require a zip drive at each end or a CD burner at the PC.
Getting your Mac online is another good idea, because then you can download things (even those really big ones, start the download at night, and wake up the next morning with the downloaded files.)
