PM6100 running Mac OS 8.1 136MB RAM, 9.1GB IBM Deskstar SCSI External SCSI devices: CD, scanner. Reasonably fresh battery.
This machine runs fine for the most part, but periodically freezes for more than a minute with the HD thrashing visibly (icon in upper-left next to Apple icon). After freeze, authority is returned to the mouse/KB, and all clicks/commands entered during the freeze are then quick-run (as one would see in one of the shorter hang-ups).
