PCI PM'ers,
I recently put a 128MB RAM stick into my wife's PM8500, bringing it to a whopping 208MB. She reports that it seems to her that applications are quitting more slowly -- maybe three times slower, though we don't have measurements.
Any ideas?

From my experience mixing different size DIMMs--namely old ones (8,16, 32MB) with newer--often slows memory performance, though only around 10% which is barely noticable. There could be a problem if one of the other DIMMs has a 1k refresh rate.
I'd first try the pushing the CUDA button if you haven't already done so, then pulling all but the 128MB DIMM.
