First, have you checked your RAM sticks? Reseat, put Gauge Pro through to test. What software are you running? 136 is not that much RAM so go easy on no of apps open. Got VM on? Defragmented your disk? Is this freezing happening when you are on line or off or both? I would be very careful to regularly zap pram, rebuild desk top, put through say Norton's diagnostic or other fixer check, defrag HD, and not expect too much from your processor; don't do too much clicking and clear all caches and histories in browsers etc often. Also, 8.6 is a stabler system that you might consider. Another thing is to check your extensions, go back to base extensions, see your extensions manager, and see if freezing still happens ...
