I guess I'm blind because I cannot for the life of me find the Cuda button.
I'm guessing it is on the bottom of the motherboard of my 7500 because I
looked all around the area of the card and on the motherboard. Is there a
small graphic depiction somewhere???

I did pull the battery though. It looked okay, though I have no battery
testing devices.

On the 7500/7600 logic board it's behind the processor slot, often hidden under the processor card and heatsink (depending on processor). You will likely need a probe of some kind to press it. Chopsticks work well, or the eraser end of a pencil.

Don't judge the battery on looks alone. A good rule of thumb is if you've never replaced the battery before, replace it now.
