I use it to make duplicates of my own VCDs in a format that Toast can read.
In fact, I hate to say it, it will make copies of copy protected audio CDs
but won't read DVDs.  Just drag the folder to your harddrive and
double-click on its icon to open an easy to understand interactive window.
Under preferences check "ignore read errors" if it encounters copy
protection. I heard Apple purchased the software so it is no longer widely
available. Astarte (pronounced "us-tar-teh") is still around in Germany
developing media-related Mac softawre.
