I use it to make duplicates of my own VCDs in a format that Toast can read. In fact, I hate to say it, it will make copies of copy protected audio CDs but won't read DVDs. Just drag the folder to your harddrive and double-click on its icon to open an easy to understand interactive window. Under preferences check "ignore read errors" if it encounters copy protection. I heard Apple purchased the software so it is no longer widely available. Astarte (pronounced "us-tar-teh") is still around in Germany developing media-related Mac softawre.
