My 5500-225 and 7500 Sonnet G3 suddenly won't recognize any audio cd.
They both still read and run data cds fine. This is a new problem,
because I have successfully listened to CDs in the past on both machines.

I am running OS 9.2.2. Is there a control panel or something that I could
have accidentally used to disable the audio cd function on both machines?

Incidentally, I have an external Yamaha CD-RW that will burn audio cds
all day long from either machine. When it is finished, it ejects the CD
only to refuse to accept it back. I get the same message - that the disk
is unreadable by this computer and asks if I want to initialize the cd!
If I take that same cd to the car or home stereo, the audio cd plays
perfect.

Any ideas????
