I like my 3 Yamaha's....... but I would suggest you get an external so you have a faster way to copy CD's directly.... and to boot easily with the original internal.....
I placed my original CDdrive in an old apple casing from the trash, instead, and bought an internal burner, much cheaper and just as easy to copy. But of course an external burner is good if you want to use 1 burner with several machines.
