I want to share an internet connection coming in through
ethernet on my Powermac 7300/180 w/ OS 8.1 to my Mac SE w/ OS
7.5. I know I'll need a software router, and TCP stuff for the
SE. Could somebody send me a link to a freeware, preferably, or
maybe a shareware router? I'll need detailed instructions too,
last time I did this I was more confused than a monkey in a
rocket ship. I have MacTCP 2.0.4 on the SE, and am clueless as
to how to set stuff like the domain name. I think I have it set
up, as I have a Windows 2000 server domain on my home network (A
freebie from a friend). As to why? Well, I just want to make
use of MacWeb 2.0, lol. I'll probably never use it, but I'll feel
better to have an old useless machine put to work.
      Thanx a mil,
             ES

PS: Just wanted to add how thankful I am for this list. I've
gotten everything from fixing partitioning problems, to people
sending free OS's to me. Thanx again.
