What's your configuration like?  I found Open Office slow on my B&W G4/400
with 768MB RAM.  I was able to get it working by installing the very latest
version of X11 OR XDarwin.  Either one worked with it.  You're best to stick
with MS Office or Appleworks.


I have a 8600 with a G3/300 card and 384MB of RAM. I have Office 98. I was tying to decide on using it in classic, or using Open Office in X.
