Listers, My daughter's PM 4400 has "died": on startup all we get is a grey screen with no keyboard or mouse response. No OS startup screen (we have 9.1 installed).
Of course, the first thing I did was replace the battery. No change. I had purchased several, so a put in another battery, just in case the first one was DOA. No change. Pressed the CUDA button, both with the machine off and on. I get a chime, but still the grey display. There is some initial activity out of the hard drive, but that soon ends.
