hi all i have just hit a wall in the attempt to use the 266 as my main desktop.
hit the reset switch like everyone said now all i get is the time sync error system restart. if i try with extensions off i get nothing. i have totally erased the disk and tried a reinstall of 9 no luck all i get is lock ups at boot. other things i have tried is to remove and reseat everything on the board and nothing helps . there is now no soft power and no sound at all. i have a whisper card fitted to the mac do i need external speakers for that as some sort of sound at start up might help. it will not boot fully from any device. help. vicki -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
