A coworker wants to get a CDRW for an iMac that was purchased for Christmas 2000 or 2001. Should she look at firewire or usb? I guess I'm just too lazy to look it up and thought someone might have already been this route. It probably won't get a lot of use.

There are a lot of units that have both USB and Firewire. Either way will work fine. Buslink drives are plug and play and I'm sure
many others are too.
