I think I have solved my Apple Talk problem. It seems to be either a
bad RJ-49 connection, or a bad NIC connection in the 8600. After checking
the connection, I noticed it felt loose. After that, I lost my internet
connection. I wiggled it a bit more, then restarted the network service.
After that, Apple Talk worked. For a minute or two.
