>I just took a look at the manual, it states "If the Paper Out and Paper >Jam lights flash alternately, or if they both stay on, the printer >requires service. If you have just installed a hard disk or additional >memory (RAM) in the printer, there may be a problem with the >installation." snip >If you pull the >paper tray out, then put it back, and turn the machine off and then >back on, do you still get the alternating blinking lights? Well, I have not changed any ram or HD. I pulled everything I could (paper tray, toner cart, etc) and checked for paper jams. When I turned the printer on, still got the blinking lights. I got her set up printing to another printer on the network, and pulled the 16/600 and set it aside while I ran some errands. I got back, pulled and reset everything again, and now it is working fine. I guess I need to keep an eye out on the swap list for some toner for the Select 360 to keep it as a spare. Thanks for the offer of the screen shots, Nancy, but at this point it can wait until tommorow. Len -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
