Serial printers can be made to work, however LocalTalk/AppleTalk serial 
printers will not. StyleWriters do require AppleTalk over serial I 
believe. Might be able to work via gimp print but I doubt it, try 
looking on the gimp print sight if you really want to check into it 
further.
