True OSX is painfully slow, but YDL on a 6500 with max ram runs circles around OSX. Just a suggestion..
I tried like hell to get YDL or _anything_ other than MacOS to load on my 6500 and I could never get better than a blank screen hang. I think I almost wore out the red button on the board!
