I teach high school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I've recently inherited 15 or so 5500/250's from the communications tech classrooms. It appears the whole school board is going PC only. Another great administrational decision...
Anyhow, What is the optimum setup for these machines? They are maxed out in RAM (128MB) and have stock hard drives. Which OS should I use? They will be used mostly for word processing and the occasional web search. Is 9 overkill? Will they work faster with a version of 8? If so which version of 8 should I go with?
