I have Epson 740 printers and the replace ink is NOT REPLACE HEAD, so
it is just a problem that I have an IDEA on how to fix.

Since the 4 colors have 2 cartridges and the built in CLEANER program
and so on, uses ink from ALL COLORs - a lot of ink is wasted that is
not at issue, so I do NOT use the built in cleaner program, but my
own.

In drawing program I make 1/2 inch bar in checkerboard pattern and
color it BLACK and white, or yellow and white and so on.

This, when printed exercises the head of ONLY the color that is NOT
working properly, but does not use any of the other ink colors.

How do you select the true single color of the ink in question?

Try it and let us know your results.

Did you know the amount of ink shown in the view is NOT measured, it
is calculated from when you last inserted the cartridge - so it is
next to having very little information - info that is wrong is worse
than having no info at all.

Bill Neill.
