She wanted a waitress job, and our local paper has their classifieds online, but the I.E. 5 wouldn't go to that page, choosing to freeze as you described. I tested memory adjustments to the browser, tried Netscape 4.76 and 4.08 at high memory settings, (this Mac has 256M of RAM), and after nearly giving up found that good old I.E. 4.01 accessed the page at 9800 MB accessible to the program, as set in the "Get Info" window.
