I got an 18G SCSI new recently from [EMAIL PROTECTED] which works well. I think this crowd had other faster ones too (mine is standard 7200 rpm - I just grabbed this email address from my mail files with no further research, excuse me). Came from the USA to Australia very efficiently. There are lots of perfectly good and cheap SCSI HD, unused and used. Before doing anything further I would try to find out (or redouble your efforts) why this extraordinary bad run on your SCSIs. But, true, the idea of a firewire or USB hard drive is exciting and surely would be an excellent thing to have (portable to future machines too!). Went west? Fizzle? Maybe I missed a history here, perhaps you have raised this with no luck on this list? David Elmo -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
