I have just gone through a hard drive fizzle I had two Western Digital 9 gig drives in my 7600 and one during a reformat went west I put everything on to the other drive for the reformat but am now feeling a little insecure and am wondering if its time for a "forward thinking" strategy?
I have been told I should invest in an external Firewire drive and get a combo USB /Firewire pci to run it from I have also been told that only certain cards will fit in my 7600
I would get another scsi drive but they dont exist anywhere any more I am also told, well not new ones anyway
So if anyone has been down this road any insight would be great or any good offers as well I guess
thanks
Michael
