I never had the freezing problem but it is best to not use a USB keyboard on
a non built in USB computer because you cannot boot on the key of "c" nor
can you use the power key to startup the computer. It ends up being too
frustrating. I'm not sure what to blame but it also seemed that the keyboard
did not fell all that great perfomrance wise. It kind of felt mushy when I
was typing. Also, with USB mice, you cannot use them when you boot up on
your CD. I do have a MS optical mouse which I like to us but I always keep
my Apple ADB mouse plugged in when I need to boot up.
