Mac Muggers, My daughter is running AIM4.3 on a 7500/G3-275Mhz/OS9.1. The IM function works fine but the chat room and file transfer options lock up the Mac. I tried running the latest version that's supposed to be compatible, according to the AOL/AIM Web site, AIM4.7 (I'm pretty sure these are the correct version #s, I'm not near the machines right now to be sure), but it would only get to the splash screen and lock up.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Are there any known extension conflicts, etc... to this software on OS 9.1?
