The way to look up who owns a web site is through "whois". Type whois into
the google search engine.
http://www.google.com and you will find a couple thousand sites that will
let you look for free at who owns a particular site. I noticed some want to
charge for what most let you look at for free so don't pay to find public
information.
This is one way of searching back for spammers if they didn't spoof or pass
through an open server, not theirs to send their spam. Everyone tells us NOT
to reply to spam even to be taken off the list as that just confirms the
spam got through. I'm killing over two hundred spam messages a day. What a
waste of my time.

OK, the _easiest_ way, is probably to install "What Route" from your MacOS
install CD. It has the ability to trace routes, perform whois lookup's,
etc. I just used it, and it worked flawlessly - and fast.
