(Yes, I know Apple says you can only go as high as 128 MB using 2 64 MB modules. Keep in mind, the spec was set before there were 128 MB DIMMs. Apple says a lot of things that just aren't so.)
If that person reads this, can you comment on this again.
I'm about to go to OS 9.2.2 on my 5500/225 (with a Sonnet Crescendo 400Mhz G3 upgrade card in the L2 slot), and I'd like to try upgrading from 128 MB to 256 MB on the logic board.
I'd like to know if he was successful with 256 MB on a 5500/225 logic board.
