That should happen automatically, at least mine did both in my powerbook 
3400/OS 8.6 and in powermac 7600/G3/OS 9.0.4. I originally had 4.79 and 
upgraded to 6.2.3. Incidently I installed Mozilla too and the bookmarks 
transferred automatically including all my email folders. This happened 
with both browsers.
