Leads me to think, once again, that newer isn't the definition of better.

In my 68k DaystarIIci or LC 475 Internet Explorer 2.1 was tops. Lately it
provides some spectacular java errors, but still is the mark of a workable
browser. Much less annoying than the error messages popping up in Netscape
3x.

2.1 is Bundled with Eudora 1.5x. It is a pretty simple and hokey but
workable mail client.

And I've used I.E. 5 and OE bundled on this Beige G3 Tower forever. Even
through speed bumps, the latest being a G3-466 ZIF, I have zero trouble.

My only more-well-liked browser would be Mozilla in non-X Macs.
