It will be interesting to see if the slot problem migrates to the 9600 with the Sonnet card. Be sure to fire it up in stock form to check out the system in ASP first for comparison. Moving components and testing one at a time should isolate this problem if it recurs.

A month ago there was much discussion on making sure one of the fans usually the door fan blows in rather than out for cooling . Especially with a faster processor and added drives. I thought you might like to know.

When I easily open my 9600 I marvel at the vast technical real estate. All those slots. All that room for expansion. I love it !
