Yes, so my Mac reminds me daily, but the memory problem was more aggravating so I tackled it first. I have 9 and 4 gig internals. The last attempt to install a larger drive in the 8500 went horribly awry. (I think blood was left in the case...) What kind of performance could I look for from a firewire external?
