I think you got confused along the way. What he meant to indicate was that when his G3 computer croaked he pulled the video card out of it (16-meg PCI video card)and put it into his 7300/200 to improve the video over the stock 2-meg VRAM configuration that the 7300 originally came with, NOT that he put 16 Megs of VRAM into it. Thats what I thought he meant.
I've been looking on eBay for a nice video card as well, figuring that 8 or 16 megs is plenty. The 4 megs I have installed now is OK for most activities on the 17-inch monitor I'm using and it surely does NOT need 32 Megs or more. The computer is worth less than most video cards anyway !! When I upgraded the Daystar Genesis with the Sonnet G4 800 MHz card and installed OSX I pulled the 64-meg Voodoo 5500 video card out of it and replaced it with an OSX-compatible 32-meg ATI Radeon 7000. It went on eBay but I sure wish I had it now for the 7300.
