You talking of "extra video ram" was a little confusing, you are using a card that has a whole lot of things on it to fire up a screen. I realised you must have meant a card when I thought about it later and as other wise souls on the list have pointed out. Anyway, good on you! My video card is PCI twin turbo type 8MB for my second screen and is quite adequate except for its slowness in scrolling lists (and windows). So slow that sometimes with a big list (a rare thing really) I flick the window to my screen on the built in video ram and it flies! I have a portrait greyscale on the 4MB built in circuit, a 20" colour on the card. I should swap the connections and see if it is more to do with the screen or the card, but I am lazy and happy...
