I installed 10.1 osx on a sonnet G3/500 on my 9600 mac.
Works ok, kind of hard to install, are you using sonnets install program?
I had to use the original video card to do it. Can not have an ATI card installed.
What kind of hard drive are you using? I found it better to install sonnets ATA 133
IDE card with a IDE hard drive. Make sure you format a volume under 8 gigs, you cannot put osx on a 9600 over 8 gigs. Also found a program called XPostFacto that installs
osx easier, worked for me. Computer works great.

I want to upgrade my Sonnet G4/450 9600 to OS X. My understanding is that
for now 10.2 Jaguar is the furthest I can go. I'd like to know what to look
for when purchasing the Jaguar install disks, since I picked up a set of
10.1 Install discs for G4, that probably came with a new computer, that I
have not been able to get to work with Sonnet's upgrade software. Any tips
or hints will be appreciated.
