Hi,

I know that I have asked for assistance on OS X here before, but I am now
truly stumped. I have a 9600/G4700 with 576mb of ram, an ati radeon 7000
video card, an ata100 card, the stock 4gb hard drive and an additional 25gb
hard drive. I have done a complete re-install of os 9 all the way up to
9.2.2.

When I first installed OS X it installed fine, but had some problems with
some of the programs running. So I removed it, set up the hard drive again,
and now when I try to install OS X I get all the way to the point where the
install program says that it is installing base system and my computer locks
up. I am using the newest version of Xpostfacto. When that didn't work I did
a complete re-install of os9 all the way up to 9.2.2. again. I went to the
sonnet website and purchased their PS X install program. I tried it, it
booted into the OS X install program (but my usb mouse didn't work) and
started the install and froze at the very same place. Ahhhhh!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob
