Bad move!

The 8600 will accept 168-pin 5-volt, or "3.3-volt converted" (using an on 
stick regulator) sticks, which are FPM or EDO, but it will NOT accept 
PC66/100/133/150 SDRAM.

SDRAM and FPM/EDO RAM are completely different.
