I wanted to use the 7000 to run two monitors, but it didn't work at first.

When I installed the 7000 in my 9500 using the software on the supplied CD,
I couldn't get the dual monitor setup to work (the digital hub with a SVGA
wouldn't run a second monitor; the light on the monitor went green, but
never showed any hint of video).

Downloading a newer version from ATI's website did the trick.

(Just in case you have the same problem.)
