I just got this 9600 on Friday and the only annoying thing about it is
that every time it starts up the Trash icon shows that the Trash can be
emptied and there is a folder called "Rescued Items from Macintosh Hard
Drive" in the Trash.

Hmmmm....

Sometimes its Netscape junk.

Where does it come from ??

Some programs fail to close all their temporary files when you quit the application. When you shut down, the system puts those files in the "Rescued Items..." folder.

The IRC client Snak is the only program I have that exhibits this behavior.
