Dear List:

A couple of days ago I posted a message to this list with regard to expanding my home
network. My existing
network consists of a Power Mac G4, a Powerbook G4 (with Airport), and a D-Link DI-624
Wireless router. I
have an old Performa 6360 (souped up with a Sonnet G3 400 card) into which I have
installed two ethernet
cards and IPNetRouter (v 1.6.9) software. The Performa is running OS 9.2.2 with 128MB.

In my network setup I want to have it go as follows:

1. The high-speed modem plugs into one of the ethernet cards on the Performa.
2. From the second ethernet card, the Performa plugs into my D-Link router.
3. The rest of the network remains unaltered.

My question is that when I run the ethernet cable from the Performa to the router, do
I plug that cable into the
WAN port or one of the LAN ports on the router?

Roland :)
