Dear All,
I've got OSX onto my 9600 300 at last!

However it's running dog slow! I installed it on my external 4GB LaCie 4GB harddrive. Could this be the reason? Or does OSX run very slowly on older Macs anyway.

Make sure you're running some sort of cache enabler, such as Ryan Rempel's L2 Cache Controller, or PowerLogix CPU Director. Without the L2 cache enabled OS X runs like molasses in winter.

More memory will help, too. 200 meg's a bit low.
