I have a G3/233 AIO that is running OS 9.2.2. I recently added 256 MB RAM for a total of 512. I also added a Apple DVD drive. I have a eMac OS X installation DVD that I am trying to get to install on it. When I put the DVD in the drive and clicked on the OS X installer, it said that the application that created it could not be found to open it with, or something like that.
So, I selected the DVD as the start up disk and restarted. A white screen came up and nothing else. So, I put my OS 9 CD in and restarted with the "C" key held down. The white screen came up again. I also tried with the "Delete" key held down, and with the DVD drive disconnected. Nothing seems to get me past the "White Screen of Death".
Help! Please.

Thanks--

Kevin
