Since this is the Legacy PCI Macs list and I am unfamiliar with Jaguar and AIO G3s ( two steps removed ? ) I can only guess that a G3 AIO does not have a DVD drive as standard hardware.

I just added a Apple DVD drive to it. The drive works fine, and I have used it to boot from the OS 9 CD.
