Most are compatible from the 7300 to the 9600, which use 5 volt 168pin 
Dimms. But there are FPM Dimms and EDO Dimms that different Macs need, 
but some can use either.

You should download MacTracker - it's free program that lists lots of 
info on almost every Mac made including RAM specs. You should be able 
to find MacTracker on MacUpdate or VersionTracker.
