Welcome to the discussion. I see that you didn't care enough about the poor guy's problems with his 9600 to offer any constructive advice. Please try to contribute a little more. Thats what this List is all about. And there's no reason to get excited. Flame off. One of those people still using a 9600 is ME and I would not be delighted if my own 9600 suddenly croaked, but it would be minor irritation at most. I paid less than sixty dollars (about 1.42% of the MSRP) for my own 9600 on eBay around the middle of June, about five weeks ago, and I like it a lot. And seriously, Jeff, there REALLY IS a vast emotional difference between having your computer croak when it is worth $4,000.00 and having your computer croak when it can be replaced for $60.00. Can you think of any CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions or advice that I missed in my previous message in response to the question about what to try first to get the dead 9600 running again ?
