Maybe a bit OT, but there are two PCI PowerMacs on the network in question. The network consists of: A Cable Modem, a IIci 601 upgrade w/ dual Asante Mac Con-i ethernet cards running OS 8.1 and performing the duties of internet gateway/router using IPNetRouter, a 6500/250, and a 9600, both PCI Macs have Sonnet upgrade cards, a Windoze box, a LaserWriter 16/600 and an EtherMac LT LocalTalk bridge, all connected to an old SMC Ethernet Concentrator (Hub).
I recently brought home a surplus Netgear DS106 Hub to replace the SMC Concentrator. Everything works great except the IIci and the NetGear hub don't want to see each other. Since the IIci is doing the Internet Sharing and I want to keep it that way, this is not good. Anyone have any ideas why the old Asante adapters don't see the NetGear Hub?
