700k - for the application and more memory allocation to sustain the Eudora
Folder inside the System folder as it gets filled up with
attachments/mailboxes.

Version 3 is compatible with 9.2.1/9.2.2 and its GUI is simplicity in
earnest. I have chosen it as my default even as I upgraded to the next
higher OS.

Its filters are not so mature as later versions so maybe I will consider
4.3 as the need arises.

I have experienced vanishing messages after having downloaded and read
them. It happens after quit the application. I found that there was
duplicate Eudora folder outside the system folder that the application
sees. I solved the problem by moving the latest into the system folder thus
replacing the older. (whenevr it asks to create a new set of mailboxes I
choose "use older set."
