Try a PRAM zap. The monitor size settings are stored there and if it

gets corrupt it might munge things.

Try booting off a CD-ROM. From there you could try changing video
resolution using the control panel on the Harddisk.

I think I have found the problem. I zapped the PRAM, as Clark
suggested, with the 7600 hooked up to the NEC monitor, using an
adapter. No change. I then hooked up the Multiple Scan 20 monitor (no
adapter needed), zapped the PRAM, and I had many choices. I also
noticed that the control panel said "Multiple Scan Display"). I hooked
up the NEC again, and it looked good. I decided to restart to see what
would happen. I was back to 640x480 only, and the control panel simply
said "Display".

I think the adapter to go from the 7600's DB-15 to the NEC's HD-15 is
the problem. It's a simple one, with no DIP switches to set. Do you
think a better adapter would solve the problem?

Thanks again.

Wade
